Fears of violence mount ahead of high-stakes US midterm elections
WASHINGTON – The United States is at heightened risk of political violence as highly charged midterm elections loom on Nov 8.
A government bulletin has warned that perceptions of election-related fraud and dissatisfaction with electoral outcomes likely will result in heightened threats of violence against a broad range of targets such as ideological opponents and election workers.
